Marshall VanBuren - Owner & Operator

With over a decade of experience in music and entertainment, Marshall has crafted his skills as an open-format DJ and karaoke host, who has been rocking the decks and the mic since 2014. As the main KJ at Bourbon Street Bar and Grill with Thomas Entertainment for nearly two years, Marshall has brought energy and unforgettable vibes to countless nights out. Marshall has spent the last 3 years honing his open format dj style to fit the needs of any  event, from mitzvahs and sweet 16's to clubs, proms, and of course a plethora of different styled weddings.

As a lifelong musician and live music performer, Marshall hit the road as a touring musician at just 15 years old, advancing his craft on drums and vocals, while still working on his expertise with guitar, bass and piano. This foundation of multi-instrumental talent, combined with his deep understanding of live sound, led him to operate and teach at a fine arts school for five years, sharing his passion and expertise with the next generation of artists. Marshall dove heavily into fine-tuning his expertise and organization as a wedding dj in 2023, with his biggest reward at the end of each special day being the smiles and unforgettable experiences spent with his cherished couples.

By day, Marshall serves as the Community Manager at Launchbox Flexible Warehouse Suites in Albany, but music remains the heartbeat of his life. Outside of his DJ booth and performance stage, he enjoys playing and producing music, building RC crawlers, 4-wheeling, and indulging in archery and bar sports.

From private parties to weddings, corporate events to festivals, Marshall's versatility, charisma, and technical skills guarantee an unforgettable experience, whether he's spinning tracks, rocking a stage, or perfecting the sound for any event.
